Inspire is the perfect place for your child to dance! In this stage of your child's journey, we offer lessons for children 6 years old (Grade 1) to up to 9 years of age (Grade 4) and ready to attempt their first dance exam.
Our classes are taught by quality Inspire curriculum trained teachers who have a sincere love of teaching and who are overjoyed to share their passion of dance with your child.

All of our classes follow a similar format and are packed full of variety, energy and fun.

Teal Ballet
This ballet class is great for all dancers who want to learn to do classical ballet or anyone who has ever dreamt of a tutu. This level is full of fun exercises, themes and imaginative work that will teach and train ballet technique while being a load of fun! This level will be offered in-school exams which are not mandatory. This class will participate with a dance on-stage in the year end recital.
Teal Jazz
In this structured class the dancers will learn to work with music, foundational technique and body awareness all while having fun and making new friends! The syllabus is a blend of ISTD modern exercises and ADAPT jazz to maximize learning of style, lines, and flexibility. Exams are offered at this level and they will participate with a dance in the year end recital.
Teal Tap
Tap will engage your child mentally and physically with style, challenging rhythms, different types of music and lots of fun! Get your feet moving and the brain working while counting 1 2 3! This level is a mixture of ISTD and ADAPT work to get the best benefit of rhythm and style. Slip your click shoes on and let’s dance!
This level will be offered exams and will have a dance onstage at the end of year recital.
Jazz Tech
This class is designed to improve all leaps and turns both in and out of the jazz curriculum. Must be taken with a jazz class. This class will expose dancers to fun and exciting jumps and turns while helping them progress at a faster rate.
Teal Acro
Acro (acrobatics) is a combination of gymnastic type movements with music and dance vocabulary. Flexibility does play a part but at this level introductory movements and musicality will be combined for a spectacular result. This level will be offered exams and will participate in the year end recital with a dance onstage.
Teal Hip Hop
Hip-hop is a very energetic form of dancing. It is unique in that it allows its dancers to perform with freedom of movement, adding in their own personalities! This class will not be offered exams but will participate in the year end recital! PREREQUISITE – MUST BE IN 1 OTHER TECHNICAL CLASSES
Acro Tech
Acro Tech is a fun focused technique class to assist dancers in creating a healthy relationship with their bodies while strengthening and improving range of motion. Dancers will focus on improving front and side splits, shoulder and back flexibility and strengthening shoulders, core and legs. Dancers who have taken this class have improved at a faster rate! This class does not do exams or recital.
